Only one fixture will be played away from the day this year, that game seeing Southampton and West Ham go head-to-head, two teams who have had a turn of fortunes over the past few weeks.

The rest will be played at various times across Boxing Day, so we decided to take a look at just how each team performs on one of the most exciting games of the season…

The Red Devils have won almost 55% of games played the day after Christmas and will take on Huddersfield at home in a 3pm fixture.

United will of course be clear favourites for this tie against a side who have struggled so far this season.

However, the relative newcomers, alongside Brighton have two of the best records in the country, ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.

The seaside club will take on the Gunners in the early evening television game in what could be a real thriller given the form of Arsenal.

Liverpool make up the top four, and will welcome former manager Rafael Benitez on Boxing Day.

Burnley face a tough game away to Everton, who have a 44.94% win ratio on Boxing Day, while Leicester take on Manchester City at the King Power.

Of course, since Manchester City were taken over their form on Boxing Day has seen a significant lift and the bookies will undoubtedly still side with the current Champions.

Newcastle will also struggle once again against another of the Premier League favourites, Liverpool who will be desperate to keep the pressure on their Mancunian rivals.
