There’s a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Wolves winger, Adama Traore. The oiled up Spanish player has caught the eye of some big clubs in need of such a player, giving potential for a January move away from the Molineux Stadium.
Odds have been bouncing around in the specials market of “Adama Traore to sign before February 3rd 2022” due to strong reports that different clubs are registering their interest.

Which club is favourite?
Tottenham Hotspur 1/1*
Antonio Conte is working on a re-shuffle at Spurs, looking to part ways with what he sees as deadwood and to bring in players he believes fits his ethos. Traore appears to be such a player.
Wolves are reportedly being reluctant to let him go before the summer, but a £25m offer at this stage would be hard to turn down.
Traore has shown real potential at Wolves, but has never really delivered when it comes to the end product. A move away could well be a wise move, both for Traore’s development and for Wolves’ balance sheet.

Newcastle 10/1*
Newcastle have new owners with deep pockets and Eddie Howe has pretty much been given a carte Blanche situation to help dig Newcastle successfully out of a relegation fight.
Eddie Howe has already made significant signings and has shown no signs of slowing down the interest in other players. Despite being second favourite, there’s no real substance from the media outlets that Newcastle have actively approached Wolves about a potential move.
Other players have already shied away from Newcastle interest due to their league status and he could well see that as a bad move in regards to his own personal development if Newcastle did come knocking.
Barcelona 10/1*
Barcelona were as high as 33/1 two days ago to land Traore in this window. However news dropped yesterday that Traore wants to move to Barcelona and that his agent has been in negotiations for the past couple of weeks.

Adama Traore could be seen as a logical replacement for Ousmane Dembele and a move back to Spain may be the preferred option. This is where the value lies in the market right now, in my opinion.
