Betvictor iPad app
The Betvictor iPad app is one of few iPad betting apps that really takes advantage of the screen size of the iPad (or mini). It can only be used in landscape mode but that means you’ve got quick access to all the latest markets and your bet slip is always visible on the right of the screen. We’ve been really impressed with the design and performance of this app as well as the impressive odds on offer for football betting.
Betvictor iPad app review
As mentioned above we’ve been really impressed with the Betvictor app on iPad and really like a number of features that are specific to this version. The main one you’ll notice it the ability to add “favourites” on the left hand side, this gives you the option of having quick links to your favourite sports or competitions – as shown below.
So now when I want to quickly find a market then I can just get straight to it from the home screen. Once you’ve used this app for a couple of weeks you’ll really get a feel for how quickly you can get your bets on.
Live streaming – The app doesn’t have as wide a range of sports as some and currently just has horse racing from at the races. If you place a bet of at least £1 per race you’ll be able to watch a stream without leaving the Betvictor iPad app. Again this is where the app is handy, any live streams you’ve qualified for are show under the “live streams” tab on the left hand side under “my account”. As you can see the stream is full screen, unlike bet365, and is of a reasonable quality.
Betvictor are quite a big name in horse racing with their sponsorship of the Queen Mother championship chase at the Cheltenham festival. They have previously sponsored the “Victor Chandler chase at Ascot, widely seen as a market for the Cheltenham festival but this has now been taken over by Betfair.
Best odds – As you may have seen Betvictor’s current promotions are all around their best odds for football betting. You’ll see these adverts on Sky Sports, usually when the football is on or they often have pitch side adverts on at certain games. On the Betvictor iPad app you’ll get all the same best odds as the desktop site and if you’re backing accas then this can really make a difference to your returns. The only possible downside to football betting on this app is the lack of a cash out option that most others offer. Personally we don’t like the cash out option as its not weighted in your favour so this is no major issue to us!
About Betvictor – Previously known as Victor Chandler, Betvictor have been based in Gibraltar since 1999 like most gambling companies. As they operate in the UK they are licensed to do so by the UK gambling commission. With over 500,000 customers across 160 countries Betvictor are one of the major players in sports betting world wide.
Summary – If we had to describe the Betvictor iPad app in one word it would be “handy”. Its a great app for placing quick bets on your favourite markets and we like the layout of the app. Its good to see all the menus and your bet slip constantly but still have a crisp simple design for the middle column. This is an advantage against some apps that have too much information and constant promotions on the home page.
