** Please note – This app is no longer available and has been removed from iTunes*** Ladbrokes have launched a new app for quick singles called Kammys kick off app in the app store for iPhone. The app doesn’t seam to have too much depth to it and is definitely targeted at the more casual bettor with only a basic range of markets available. Where we think this app will be interesting is with the future up dates to ad in play. Ladbrokes seam to be going down the route of having a dedicated football betting and in play app for their customers to take the pressure off the main app. If they get the in play section right this could be a great app, similar to the sporting bet “play” app that we really like, click here for details. With the Kammys kick off app you can use your existing Ladbrokes account to place your bets, if you’ve not got an account you can get not one but THREE £10 free bets when you register on the link below –
Kammys kick off app screen shots
As you can see from the screen shots you are initially greeted with a choice of the major up coming games to select from and place quick singles on the outcome. Once you have selected a game on Kammys kick off app then you get the option of what bet to place. Remember you can currently only place singles on this app and only a handful of “popular” markets. These markets include result, HT/FT, correct score, DNB, BTTS, under/ over 2.5 and first and last goal scorers. The app is good if you just want to have a quick bet with out having to navigate around numerous markets to find what you are looking for. Its very good if you’re looking to place a quick bet before the match kicks off.
kammys kick off app also has the outright markets for the English and Scottish leagues. As well as this you can see your current bets and access your account details. What the app is really lacking is just a bit more of everything, bit more markets and account services. With it being kammys kick off app we were expecting more fun things from it, theres no special promotions or anything fun about it. We’d like to see some Kammys price boosts or maybe a blog from Kammy on the up coming games, just a little something to make it more interesting.
Overall its a simple to use app that will appeal to the casual punter but doesn’t really have anything to entice you to keep using it, or anything to add any value compared with other betting apps.
