Ladbrokes exchange app – Up to £500 free
As well as a standard book maker app there is now a Ladbrokes exchange app too. This app is on the same lines as the Betfair exchange app allowing you to back or lay and results. The commissions are lower than Betfair and you can get up to £500 in free bets when you register as an exchange customer. If you’re looking for a standard betting app for accas we’d recommend the Coral app, Ladbrokes exchange is a specialist app for traders and backers and layers.
How to get the Ladbrokes exchange app
As it has only just been launched its not the easiest betting app to find, its not in any app store and its not really pushed on the Ladbrokes site. This is mainly due to it still being in more of a testing phase still. To get the app straight to your phone text “EXCHANGE” to 86131 and Ladbrokes will text you the links back. Theres a different link for mobiles and tablets. Alternatively click the below link if your reading this on a mobile or tablet.
Once on the links follow the instructions to install the app.
Ladbrokes exchange app review
In mid 2012 Ladbrokes announced that they had bought the global exchange betting company that was Betdaq. They are now going through the re branding of the company to the Ladbrokes exchange and we expect to see an app store app coming out very soon. Currently you can access the Ladbrokes exchange app through and mobil (iPhone, android, Blackberry and Windows mobile) as well as any Android tables, windows tablet or iPad.
When you first start using the app it does feel a little basic and not as slick as Betfair, but it is a good stable platform to use. From the home screen you can access the sports menus and across the bottom you have the quick links to home, in play, multiples, my account and my bets. The Ladbrokes exchange app does have a very standard feel to it and is laid out similar to most other betting apps. As it is built by Ladbrokes the multiple section is just the standard Ladbrokes site odds.
Theres a few improvements that we’d like to see on this app, firstly the adding of coupons to the multiples section. Currently its very poor and time consuming to place an acca, if you are looking to place an acca its better to download the Ladbrokes sport app. Overall the design could be jazzed up a bit, mainly to make it a bit more interesting on the eye and to get away from the “standard” look that it has.
As an alternative to Betfair we do really like the Ladbrokes exchange app, especially the lower commission levels and we expect this app to improve and grow quickly over the coming months.
