With new owners who have deep pockets, Newcastle head up the market currently to snatch Rashford from Manchester United.

Wood has been brought in through a transfer window of limited opportunity, but more pace and firepower are required at St James’ Park for Newcastle to grow.

Reports are starting to come out to say that Newcastle is interested in Rashford, alongside Roma midfielder/winger Nicolo Zaniolo, which has understandably narrowed Newcastle’s price in this market considerably.
