William Hill iPad app review
The latest version of William Hill for iPad was a much needed improvement on the previous mobile based versions. When they first launched their iPhone app they didn’t seam to appreciate the importance of a dedicated iPad app but that has all changed now. The iPad app is specially designed to give you more markets in view than the iPhone app to make full use of the large screen and a quick bet slip to speed up the in play action. To access the quick bet slip just hold your finger down on the odds you which to back and the quick bet slip will pop up.
On the right of the app you can see all the sports icons starting with the most popular, football and horse racing, and then going down through the sports. There is an a to z of sports and markets at the bottom where you will also find the novelty markets such as tv programs and political betting markets. If you want a clearer view swipe the screen to the right and the names of the sports will be displayed so you can see what they are. To access the bet slip on the William Hill iPad app you just swipe from the left and its there. Below the bet slip you can find the current “top 10” bets that other customers are backing if you are betting on football or horse racing.

William Hill has a long and great history in the world of sports betting and has a strong high-street presence, in addition to it’s online offerings. You can do this by clicking on the mobile link on the main website or by searching for ‘William Hill Mobile site’ in your search engine. Once you are on the mobile site, select the menu button and push the ‘add to home screen’ button. This will ensure the William Hill iPad App is now on your home screen and just one press away every time you power-up your iPad.

When William Hill first started to offer mobile betting, there was not a great deal to shout about. However, they have really upped their game recently and the good news is, there is now a dedicated William Hill iPad app available.
The range of features on the iPad app are excellent. Firstly, you have access to the full range of markets offered by William Hill, there is nothing missing. Therefore, whether you are looking to place a bet on football, horse racing, chess or windsurfing, it’s there for you. Not only that but the iPad app features a ‘quick bet’ tool. This means all you have to do is hold your finger down on the odds you wish to back and the betslip will appear on screen, ready for you to place your bet quickly.
This is great, especially if odds are changing rapidly.
There are a range of sports icons, which act as quick links to all the markets for these sports, such as football and horse racing. You also have an ‘A to Z’ icon, which when pushed will bring up the full range of markets William Hill have to offer, both sports and novelty. If you are unsure what all the sports are from the icons, simply swipe your screen to the right and you will find the full details are available.
Likewise, if you want to look at your betslip, just swipe the screen to the left and your betslip moves in to view.
On the home menu, you also have access to other features, such as casino, games, bingo, virtuals and financials. This is great because it means you do not have to worry about switching between apps, in order to access sports betting and these other elements.
It’s obvious, upon loading up the William Hill iPad App, it’s been made specifically for the iPad. It looks great on the screen and everything is clearly displayed. It’s very quick when switching between different markets and you are just a push away from the casino, games and other features William Hill have to offer.
Overall, the William Hill iPad App is a real pleasure to use and definitely worth having on your iPad.
Can I use the William Hill desktop site on my iPad No, unfortunately there is not way around to using the mobile site of downloadable app on an iPad. We have tried a few ways to get round it and its just not possible.
Can I use other betting apps along side this one? Yes you can use as many as you like. We usually recommend three as this give you a chance to check the prices and find the app that suits you best.
