Super Sunday Football predictions & Value Odds

Good day and welcome to our Sunday football predictions blog for 5th May 2024. Here we check out well in advance the games involving the televised Super Sunday matches and the rest of the games being played around Europe.

At the weekend I like to place a couple of bets days in advance. These bets are:

Bet Of The Day Double – 2 value selections.
Long Shot Single – 1 selection that is high risk and holds odds of over 3/1, where I am expecting an upset to happen.

I then share these Sunday football predictions here to hopefully aid you in your decisions, or at the very least to provide a different viewpoint to your own.

Super Sunday Betting Tips

Aston Villa to beat Brighton (away) 2pm 11/8*
Liverpool to draw with Tottenham (home) 4:30pm 4/1*

Brighton v Aston Villa

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Premier league 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Brighton are six games without a win in the league, losing four and drawing two.
Aston Villa are four games undefeated, scoring ten goals in those four matches.
Aston Villa are fighting with Tottenham over the 4th place spot and cannot afford to drop points, whereas Brighton are embedded mid table and have very little to play for.

Liverpool v Tottenham

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Premier league 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Liverpool have experienced a dip in form late on in the season, with just one win coming from their last five league games.
Tottenham will certainly be no pushover and proved that in the reverse fixture when they beat Liverpool 2-1. Playing at Anfield will make this a tougher game though.
Liverpool have shown a tendency to have to get back in to games by frequently conceding the first goal in matches. With Spurs battling for fourth place, they can’t afford to drop any more points so will be battling for points. However, their current form makes taking all three unlikely, in my opinion.

Rangers v Kilmarnock

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scottish Premier League Championship Group 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Rangers have been far from their usual convincing selves of late. They have only won two of their last five matches and shockingly lost to Ross County 3-2 mid April.
Kilmarnock are five games undefeated and should be feeling confident after holding third place Hearts to a 0-0 draw last time out.
Kilmarnock have proven that beating Rangers isn’t beyond the realms of possible when they pulled off a 1-0 win over them back in August of last year.
