How do you download the BetVictor app?

The app can be located within the Google Play Store for Android devices. It can also be found on the App store for iPhone and iPad.

Make sure you search for BetVictor all as one word and install the app displaying the same logo shown on this page. There are very similarly named apps available, especially on the Google Play Store, so be sure to download and install the correct one.

You can of course use the mobile optimised website instead of installing the app. Just hit your menu key from the BetVictor mobile homepage and then “add a shortcut to home” link.

This is our recommended option versus downloading the app on Google Play. It takes up barely any space and you’ll never need to update it or have any bugs.

However, the native version of the app has some additional security features, not available on the mobile site. These include the ability to personalise the 3D touch settings and biometric login (on the later Android, iPhone and iPad models).

There’s also the option to create a 4 digit pin code to access your account in the dedicated app. The speed this allows users to log in and find the football leagues, racecourses or other sports they like is very impressive.

The home page of the app is one of the best compared to some other betting apps. You see the latest live scores for in-play betting and the “top links” for the most popular pages.

5. Corners – number of corners for one team, the other, both or 90 minutes on an on an over/under/exactly basis.

Additional to the bet builder feature are the new player markets that provides even more choice. In this section, users can bet on individual players to have shots, shots on target, shots outside the box, assists, offsides and tackles.

Unfortunately, there is no way to combine these markets together to make a multi-market single bet or a multiple. Single bets here are only available from the player markets.

Betting on assists can be an interesting market to target players who create a lot of chances. The odds for popular players, such as De Bruyne or Firmino, are usually around 5/2. that is good value, although it is a tricky market to call at times.

Betting on VAR

VAR has been a huge recent change in football and looks like it is here to stay. As such, BetVictor have also provided VAR bets and specials on applicable fixtures. Users of the BetVictor app can now bet on:

• A goal to be disallowed as a result of a VAR review.
• A penalty to be awarded as a result of a VAR review after previously being dismissed by the referee.
• A red card to be shown as a result of a VAR review that was previously not given by the on-field referee.
• A penalty to be retaken after a VAR review.

BetVictor have recently added more specialist markets to give something different for their customers to bet on. This includes the increasingly popular man of the match markets for most live tv games and the “who scored” markets for highest-rated players.

Horse Racing

Whilst this app is the market leader for football betting it is also geared up for Horse race betting fans. Like most, it offers live streaming from at the races when you bet at least £1 on any race.

One advantage the BetVictor app has is that the live stream is shown in full screen, allowing users a decent view of the race. Other bookmakers have it integrated with the markets, meaning a much smaller screen to watch.

Newly added and a great improvement to the app is the Bet Victor Horse finder. You can apply a set of filters to identify horses running that meet your criteria. You can filter by the following options

1. Star rating – 1 to 5 stars
2. Selections – Won at today’s course, won over today’s distance, Improving horses.
3. Odds – Short, medium or long odds.

As you add the sections the green button below updates to show the number of horses available. As a test I’ve gone for horses that have won over the distance, at the course that are rated at 4 stars or higher at medium odds – This has produced 2 horses for the day at 5/1 and 8/1. This is worth following over time to see how the horses perform.

Live streaming

The app doesn’t have as wide a range of streams as other betting apps but there are quite a few sports that are covered with the streaming service.

Quick bet feature

The BetVictor app is built with a quick bet feature enabled. This is especially handy when betting in-play or just before a race is starting.
