We found football was available to watch live, alongside Major League Baseball, ATP Tennis, ice hockey, greyhound racing, and much more. Simply lookout for an event that displays a play icon (a rectangle with a triangle in the middle) next to the fixture and you’ll be able to tune in on mobile, tablet, and desktop. We’d recommend being on WiFi When you are streaming unless you have a very large data bundle on your phone contract.
In-Play Betting
Live streaming is only improved with the chance to also bet in-play. The app is ideal for punters who enjoy in-play betting. We found the in-play centre to be full of games. When we tapped into a game we found stats at the top of the screen on the football matches including possession and dangerous attacks.
You’ll find all the biggest fixtures and events that are available to bet in-play on the home screen, with most sports now having at least some form of in-play betting. Look for the in-play tab in the quick links at the top of the mobile home page.
Football Betting
bet365 and football go hand-in-hand and they’ve certainly taken the market they’re famous for across to the mobile app seamlessly. You see the bet365 adverts all over the TV when you are watching football with Ray Winstone being the face of the company in their adverts.
At the top of the football screen, we found all the days featured matches as well as a long list of leagues to choose from. The English Premier League to Scottish League Two, the UEFA Champions League, and multiple divisions across France, Italy, Spain, and Germany are all covered, as are many more.
Additionally, all football’s major markets are available lower down the football home page on the app in what really does feel like a never-ending list.

Horse Racing Betting
The app allows you to watch the races you’ve bet on across all UK races, while the number of races they cover extends way beyond the British Isles.
Geographical restrictions apply so check out the horse racing section of the app in order to see what’s available to watch where you are and what requirements are needed. When we wrote our review we had to have a funded account in order to watch any of the races.
The number of races you can bet on is expansive. They had early prices on ante-post markets for major festivals when we were looking.
Like desktop, we found various multiple bet options from Lucky 15s, trebles, accumulators, and handicap bets.

How Do Others Review bet365?
There are a lot of people out there who have given their own opinion on the bet365 app. Over 376,500 reviews have been placed on the App Store, and from them, bet365 walk out with an impressive overall rating of 4.7 out of 5. It is also consistently ranked inside the tops 5 apps in the sports category.
However, from the masses of reviews submitted, there is very little written feedback available justifying a review score and the majority of written feedback that is available to view is over 12 months old.
The bet365 Android app has been downloaded over 5 million times from the Google play store. From those 5 million over 201,000 have submitted a review, leaving an overall review score of 4.6 out of 5.
There’s a lot more feedback here available with recent reviews showing a combination of good and bad scores. the bad scores mainly seem to be around bug glitches and technical issues. I have experienced glitches before (as I have with every betting app I have used.), but these do tend to be after a significant software update. From experience any glitches that are identified get patched up pretty quickly.
How The bet365 App Looked 10 Years Ago
I’ve been reviewing and using the bet365 app since 2012. It’s come a long way from the first time I reviewed it. To provide some context, here’s how the app looked back in 2015.

Here is how we placed an accumulator on bet365
- We navigated to soccer>Premier League to get up the list of games for that Saturday.
- We tapped on 4 home teams to win that we wanted to back.
- We then tapped into the number of markets for one of the games and tapped back over 2.5 goals in that game.
- Then we went to the bet slip where all 5 bets were lined up.
- There was a choice of multiple bet options and we went for a 1 line accumulator on all 5 outcomes.
- We added our stake, in this case, £1, and saw we’d return £8 if they all won.
- We were happy with this so tapped place bet and our accumulator was placed.

The simple answer is no, if you are using the app then there geographical restrictions that block it from being used outside the UK for legal reasons. You maybe able to access the mobile site but you will need to check that where you are as this changes depending on the legislation in that country.

How To Access The bet365 Gambling Controls
From the homepage of the bet365 app, when logged in, enter in to the user settings by tapping on the icon in the top right of the screen

How To Set A Deposit Limit On Bet365
This tool allows users to set deposit limits over 24 hour, 7 day and 30 day periods.
Once a deposit limit has been set, it can be modified at any time by the user. However, any request to increase the limit will only come in to force 24 hours later.
This is a good way to provide thinking time and to prevent any impulse decisions, without restricting the account too much.
To change a deposit limit, tap on the Change button and text fields will appear under each time period. Set one, two or all periods as desired. Enter the account password and then tap the submit button to confirm.
How To Set A Time-Out On Bet365
A Time-Out works as a temporary complete closure of the betting account, for a period of time set by the account holder.
the start and the end of the time-out period can be customised down do to a specific minute or hour of day.
Start by tapping on the Time-Out Period field
Options will now pop up showing set time periods, as well as the ability to customise further at the bottom.
If the set date ranges don’t suit, tap on the custom option. Date and time options will now be available to enter the exact times required.
Once the time period has been set correctly, tap on the Continue button
A confirmation page will now appear summarising the Time-Out Period set. The Password is required to be entered to confirm it is the account holder making the request.
Once entered the Time-Out button can then be tapped and then the Time-Out period will be successfully in place.
How to Self Exclude on Bet365
Self Exclusion can be used to prevent access to all, or some of bet365’s services, for a set period of time.
Those periods of time are:
- 6 months
- 1 year
- 2 years
- 5 years
This tool should be used when there is fear that a gambling problem may be developing.
The flexibility of this tool means that if someone is finding themselves losing a lot of time and money to slots, but still want to have a small accumulator on the football at the weekend, they can choose to just self-exclude from poker, casino and gaming.

How To Close Your Bet365 Account
Users hold the right to close down their bet365 accounts for any reason, at any time. This can be achieved here.
Closing an account can be requested to be permanent or temporary. If temporary, users can choose from a pre-set list of times:

- 6 months
- 12 months
Users can also choose to close their accounts until a specific date.
Set a duration or date and then select a reason for closure from the available options:
- Do not have time – For example, revising, important work or holiday
- Not interested in online gambling anymore
- Not happy with service

- Want to move/have moved to a different bookmaker
- Prefer not to specify
Make a selection and then tap continue.
The details requested are then summarised for final approval by the user of the account closure. Once the details have been checked, enter the user account password and then tap on continue to complete the process.
Reality Checks
Reality checks aid in keeping the user aware of the amount of time they have been playing for. This is not a restrictive tool. It is more of an alert service.
Reality checks have to be set upon opening an account. However, this are is where to go if a change to the frequency of checks, if preferred. Tap on the Change button to get started.
Reality checks can be changed to appear every:
- 10 minutes
- 20 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
If a change is required, tap on the existing reality check time period and choose an alternative from the pop-up options. Then enter the account password in the field below and tap submit to complete the request.
If the request is to reduce the time period, the request will be activated immediately
If the request is to up the time period, the request will be activated 24 hours afterwards.
How To Increase bet365 Net Deposit Limits
Net deposit limits are automatically set to every player’s bet365 account as a safeguarding measure. These limits are usually set at a rate that would satisfy most people’s needs.
However, for some, a larger limit may be required and still within their budget. Therefore, Bet365 Net Deposit Limits is the place to head to check existing limits and to request higher ones.
Two limits are applied – a 24 hour limit and a 28 day limit. both can be requested to be increased.
From the Net Deposit limits page, enter the new limits to be requested. Then tap upload document(s).
Documents are required to support the requests for a higher limit as detailed in the screenshot above. this is to prove the player can afford to support the increase in limits.
Select Choose file to select the document to be uploaded from the device.
Select the source from where the file is located and then select the actual document/image
The uploaded file will now show. Tap on Add File to continue to add more documents or if only one document has been requested, tap Continue.
A confirmation window will appear, asking the user to make sure the document matches the requirements. If so, tap to confirm.

How To Place Your First Bet With bet365
The first part of this puzzle is locating the event to bet on. It is advised to start betting with an event you have an interest in and a bit of knowledge on, at least at first.
It is also wise to not set the stake too high on your first bet on a new app until you are at least fully familiar with the process. That is unless you are looking to maximise the most out of a new customer bonus.
When an event of interest arises, open up the bet365 app.
The homepage will show that day’s in-play events, the latest bet365 bet boosts, highlights and featured matches. If the event does not appear within these lists, the sports menu bar can be used to search for all upcoming matches.
Once the sport and event has been found tapping on the event will open up the available markets.
Find the market that is to be bet on. For this example, we are going to stick with the outright market. Tap on the odds shown for the selection of choice.
The bet slip will automatically appear at the bottom of the page. This will show the selection, odds and market selected. It. Underneath are two fields. The left hand field is where the stake is to be entered. The right hand field is the place bet button, which will be deactivated until a stake amount is set.
Once a stake is entered, the Place bet button will turn green and be active. Tapping the place bet button will confirm the selection and stake amount and the bet will be placed.

How To Make Your First Deposit
Bookmakers make a habit of making depositing funds in to the account a very simple process, for obvious reasons. They want their customers betting!
From the homepage, log in and the deposit feature can be seen in the top right of the screen next to account options.
Tapping on deposit will open up the preferred payment method on the account. If this is the first deposit on the account, a payment method will need to be set up.
Payment methods accepted are as follows:
- Debit Card (£5-£20k)
- Apple Pay (£5-£5k)
- Google Pay (£5-£5k)
- Paypal (£10-£5.5k)
- paysafecard (£5-£770)
- Click to pay (£5-£5k)

Our preferred method to deposit funds is via Apple Pay or Google Pay. However, this is entirely down to personal preference.
Enter the amount you wish to deposit in to the bet365 account. The minimum deposit amount is £5 for Apple Pay, Google Pay and Debit Card. The minimum deposit amount for Paypal is £10 and the minimum for a wire transfer is £100. Tap on the Pay button and if the funds are available, they will be transferred (immediately).

How To Check Your Bets
Once a bet has been placed it will sit in the “My Bets” section of the app or website. This can be found within the bottom menu bar on the app and in the top menu bar on the website.
From here users can view:
- All placed bets
- Settled bets
- Unsettled bets
- Bets that are in-play
- Bets that are eligible for cash out
How To Verify Your Account
Bet365 has a duty of care to their customers and the wider public as part of their licensing conditions. Part of that is to do their best in preventing and detecting fraudulent activity and money laundering.
bet365 has an excellent reputation for its service and certainly does not want to damage that to be seen as facilitating crime networks by not being diligent in their operations.
This means that they need to ensure that their customers are who they say they are. This may seem like a hindrance but is a security measure that helps keeps the general public’s money safe.
This process requires the user to verify the full name on the account, along with the address and date of birth. This is usually asked to be completed by asking the user to upload two documents to the Verification section of the app.
This is located from within the account settings. To get there, From the home page, tap on the user account icon (when logged in).
Now head to My account
Tap on verification
This will show what is required (if anything) to verify the account. In this example, the account is already fully verified.
Examples of the accepted documents to verify the details are as follows:
- Name and date of birth – Passport or Driver’s license
- Address – Utility bill or council tax bill
Enhanced Verification Check
bet365 are heavily regulated to make sure they have the welfare of their customers at heart by making sure they are gambling responsibly.
Therefore, if large stakes are being placed, big deposits are going in, or erratic betting behaviour being shown, bet365 may well intervene with extra checks to make sure the customer is within their means and of sane mind.
These types of checks can involve proving affordability by providing wage slips or bank statements. This is intrusive but prevents bet365 from picking up hefty fines. More importantly, it decreases the number of problem gamblers from spiralling out of control.
If these verification checks cannot be satisfied, there’s a good chance that restrictions will be placed on the account limiting deposit and stake amounts until they are.

How To Withdraw Funds
Withdrawing funds isn’t quite as quick and easy as depositing. However, it is hardly a major hassle either.
From the homepage, tap on the user account icon.
Now tap on the banking section
Then select Withdraw from the available options.
For security reasons, bet365 has to send money via the same method that was used for depositing. For example, if a debit card was used to deposit, the money requested for transfer will be sent to the bank account connected to that debit card.
In instances where this is not possible, bet365 will fall back to a wire transfer as their alternative method. In our example, Apple Pay was used to deposit. Therefore, the money will be going back to the bank account/debit card that is connected to Apple Pay.
Enter the Withdrawal amount and then enter the account password. This is required to ensure it is indeed the account holder looking to make the withdrawal. All that is left is to tap on the “Withdraw” button to confirm and complete the process.
How To Close Your bet365 Account
Users are able to request that their accounts be closed at any time. This can be done directly from the bet365 app.
Go to the user accounts from the main page, and then select Responsible Gambling Controls.
Account closure, along with other responsible gambling tools can be found here. Tap on “Account Closure”
Information is then shown, explaining the consequences of closing the account. Below are two fields that require an input
- Closure period – This can be set for a specific set of time, such as a week, month, or year all the way up to indefinite. It can also be pinpointed to a specific date.
- Reason for closure – This is to help bet365 understand their customers and service more. There is an option here to not specify, should the user wish not to do so.
How To Find Your Bet Credits
Bet365 like to offer out bet credits every now and then to their customers. They also use bet credits as part of their new customer offer.
To find out if there are any bet credits on the account the user will need to head to the user account section
Balance, withdrawal balance and Bet credit amounts will now be displayed. Users can also check to see if there are any bet credits that can be opted in to from the “My Offers” tab.
How To Find Your Bet History
Full betting history is located within the user account menu.
From here players can get full visibility of their profits and losses, deposit and withdrawal history, and previous bets and bets that are yet to settle.
How To Check Profit/Loss
Tap on the “Win/Loss” from the History section. You can see how to get to history above.
players can now search for the amount won or lost across Sports, Lotto and Gaming. This has to be set for a specific time period. The maximum time period the win/loss feature can handle is 6 months. Set a from and to date from the calendars provided and then tap on the “Show Win/Loss” button to bring up the relevant data.
How To Find Which Markets Have Cash Out
This is quite tricky, as bet365 do not provide an icon or symbol to represent which markets have cash out attached or not. However, from experience, there is a good range of markets that have cash-out options enabled on them.
It is important to remember that bet365 is not obliged to offer a cash-out and can withdraw cash-out options from a match or market at any time.
To find out if any placed bets have a cash-out amount being offered, head to the “My bets”
The “Cash Out” tab should automatically display from the tabs that are available. All bets that have a cash out amount being offered at that moment in time will show here.

How To Find bet365’s Responsible Gambling Tools
The Responsible gambling tools can be found in the account menu. Tap on the person icon in the top right of the home page to access it.
