How to Play the Free or 4 Game

Entrants are required to select six football matches from a long list set out by William Hill that they believe will have either three or four goals in them. It doesn’t matter what the score is as long as three or four goals are scored in those fixtures.

There are varying prizes on offer, depending on how many selected matches saw just three or four goals scored. 4 games are needed to be correct for a free bet to be awarded.

Playing Guide

To play the game, select it from the William Hill app or website. A page will open offering full terms and conditions, a few details about the promotion and a “Play for free” button. Tap the button to get open up the list of fixtures.

The available matches to be selected from will now appear. players now scroll through the whole list and pick the matches they fancy. For rounds where little knowledge of the matches in question is known, there’s a Lucky Dip button that can be pressed.

Tapping on the lucky dip button will select 6 games at random. If the fixtures picked are undesirable, the user can press the lucky dip button again or manually remove and add different selections as they see fit.

Once six selections have been made the selection counter next to the lucky dip button will then transform into a yellow “Submit Selections” button.

A pop-up message will now appear asking if you would confirm the selections. Tap submit to confirm or edit to go back to review the selections and fixtures.

Once submitted, a summary page will appear showing the selections made. These can be edited at any time even after they have been submitted.

At the top of the summary page are recommended bets based on the selections that have been made from within the game. Users can choose to back any of the recommendations using the quick bet slip links or ignore them.

The last round’s results can also be viewed by toggling between the two available tabs at the top of the page.
