Bet365 have tried to hold out, but the popularity of these boosted odds has them finally following suit.

Boost odds on football and horse racing

Bet365 have incorporated price enhancements in to their football and horse racing offerings. These boosts can be found across the most popular football matches and horse racing meetings.

All of the boosts available are hand-picked by the bet365 pricing team and as the bookmaker is strongly priced in their standard odds, these boosts really can add a good deal of value, should they land.

How to locate bet boosts on the bet365 app

Football bet boosts

Bet365 has added a little icon to their app to signify which football matches have available bet boosts to take advantage of.

The icon is a small green box that will display a number next to two arrows pointing right. The number represents the amount of bet boosts available on that specific competition or match.

When entering the match markets, the available bet boosts will be displayed at the top of the page. Each boost clearly shows the original price and what price the selection has been boosted.

The current trend here seems to be to offer out an option of an enhanced price option on the outright markets, as well as a number of hand-picked boosts from the vast range of other football markets.

If an enhanced price is taken on the outright market, two of bet365’s other feature offers are disabled for that particular bet. Those are the accumulator bonus and early payout offers.

Enhanced odds regularly crop up low within the popular bets section, so it’s worthwhile checking in here for a quick glance at the ones punters are snapping up.

It is also possible to view all of the available football bet boosts, across all matches on one page. Users can head to the football page and scroll to the “main lists” section, where an option can be found labelled Bet Boost. Tapping here will display every football bet boost being offered at that time.

Horse racing

A bet boost can be found on EVERY UK and Ireland horse race. Enhancements can be found from 10 am on the actual day of the race in question.

The enhancement will be available on one horse in the race selected by bet365. It will only apply in the “to win” market and best odds guaranteed (BOG) will NOT be applied.

The boosted horse will appear at the top of the race card. The horse can also be selected at the original price lower down, for the purpose of each-way betting, or to secure BOG.

Enhanced horses can be added to “to win”’ accumulators and any horse boosted to over 4/1 will still qualify for the feature race 4/1 and ITV Racing 4/1 offers.

A very nice addition

We are enjoying the new boosts being offered out by bet365 and find ourselves logging in more frequently because of them.

We don’t always take advantage of them and don’t always see value in them. However, some of them we do and have backed with varying success.

It’s a shame that there are no personal bet boosts available and to be honest, we don’t really see them as bet boosts. We regard them to be more of a price enhancement.

A bet boost for us is when a user can select to boost a bet of their choice, be it an accumulator or a single. The Ladbrokes app and William Hill app offer this type of bet boost, as well as price enhancements.

However, the new enhancements on offer are well received by ourselves, whatever they may be called. They have certainly added something to the overall betting experience at bet365, which we can only view as a positive.
