Best iPhone betting apps #4 – Bet 365
In our opinion, the quick links throughout the bet365 app make navigating around a breeze. We like the overall platform and think this is a good app that’s easy to use.
bet365 has long been a bookmaker that goes the extra mile and the bet365 iPhone app really is no different.
It’s market opportunities are expansive, particularly when it comes to football while the number of offers available is truly exceptional.

Best iPhone betting apps #6 – Betway
You can follow your hunch and download the Betway app free from the iTunes app store. Betway is one of the newer players in the betting world but has invested well in their advertising and platform to take a place among the big boys.
They are licensed in the UK under the gambling commission but also accept customers from across Europe and Africa.
The Betway app has a cool search facility built in. From the home page of the i0s app swipe down to open the search bar, type what you are looking for and the app will find it for you, easy as that. Perfect for when your mate has a tip on OH Leuven and you can’t find the league they play in!
The app has various offers for existing customers that you can find under the promotions tab – these are all subject to further terms and conditions so have a read before you put any bets on.
Best iPhone betting apps #7 – Coral
We’ll know high street bookie Coral come in at a respectable 7th in our list of the best betting apps for iPhone users.
Their app is bright and colourful like their branding and they don’t shy away from it. The app feels a little lower in quality than the more slick apps like Bet Victor or Bet365, but it is packed with features that you’ll absolutely love.
The Coral bet builder is heavily advertised on the iTunes description and images and they really push this in their advertising. It’s a great feature where you can build your bets for specific matches from a range of options. The depth of markets on offer does put some other companies to shame, you can find everything you can dream of with this app including –
- Match Betting
- Both teams to score
- Booking points betting
- Goals betting – Team – player – minute – half
- Time results – 15, 30, 45, 60,75 minutes – who will be winning
There’s even more than this on offer so check it out on the app.
To find the bet builder go to the home page of the Coral iPhone app and scroll down – you’ll soon see today’s bet builder events. Alternatively, if the bet builder is available you can go to it from the match view via the tabs at the top.
Best iPhone betting apps #8 – Football Index
In at number 8 is a bit of a curve ball with the football index app. Although it is not specifically a traditional betting app we think it’s worthy of a place in our top 10.
Rather than betting on a team or event, this app is a sort of stock market of footballers where you can buy and sell players in your portfolio. You but at a set price and then if the player gains more interest or plays well the price of that player will go up.
If they don’t play well or get forgotten about then the value of the player will go down. Timing is everything with this app, especially if you spot an up and coming player like Jordon Sanco just before he moved to Dortmund.
You can start with a minimum £10 deposit and but some low-level players for as little as 25p. You’re best to try and use your knowledge to buy players who are looking like they’ll go on a good run or young players about to break into the team.
Best iPhone betting apps #9 – Ladbrokes
Another well-known bookie in the UK gets their betting app into the top 10 on iPhone with their app – Ladbrokes. Starting life as a high street bookmaker Ladbrokes, in our opinion, took a while to get to grips with the mobile/app side of the market. After their merger with Coral in 2016 and the sharing of platforms the Ladbrokes iPhone app has gone from strength to strength.
They have a range of apps on the App Store including
- Sports betting app
- Exchange betting app
- Casino app
- Live casino app
- “The Grid” app
The grid app allows you to track your grid card and see your balance as well as your instore bets. This is a great app if you like getting your bets on when you’re on the high street but still want the simplicity of checking them later on your phone.
Best iPhone betting apps #10 – Unibet
It’s all about the live action with the Unibet app! They are big on two things – Live streaming & live in play betting!
On the Unibet iPhone app, you can live stream over 40,000 events every year – There are some that you’ll need to bet on the event to watch it, check out the app for the details of these.
- Horse Racing
Live In-Play Betting
As mentioned Unibet are the kings of the in play. The app is absolutely packed with in play markets and matches. You’ll find in play for a wide range of sports and events as well as the options for in play multiples. You’ll find them all on the home page in the in play section where you can tab between the sports to find the one you want to bet on. When placing your live bets you’ll notice an 8-10 second delay to make sure an event has not just happened or the bet won’t place. If in this time the odds change you will have to accept the new odds and replace the bet.
Best iPhone betting apps #11 – Sky Bet
You’d have to be living under a rock to have not heard of Sky Bet in the UK, their adverts are everywhere. From Sky Sports and Soccer Saturday to constant radio adverts Sky Bet pride themselves on being the biggest bookmaker in the UK.
So you may be wondering why such a large and popular company don’t make the top 10 betting apps on iPhone? Well, the simple answer is all the adverts! On the Sky Bet app, you’ll find adverts constantly being pushed for their casino arm, Sky Vegas, as well as constant price boosts and enhanced odds.
We don’t mind a price boost here and there but this is a little too much in our opinion especially now they have added the crowd boosted odds where the more people that get on a boost the bigger the odds are. Personally, we prefer looking for value bets on select markets rather than feeling like we are being herded like sheep into the same bets as they are popular. We’ve left this in 11th place though as we do understand there is a market for this and a type of punter who will like the more gimmicky feeling of these offers.
Other Related iPhone apps
Now we’ve covered the betting apps there are a few other apps on the app store that are worth downloading if you like a bet.
Time Form Racing app – Free
You may have come across Time Form as they provide analysis to a few of the betting apps such as the bet365 app. They have all the data and knowledge you need to cover multiple races at multiple venues and if you are into horse race betting then this app is a must-have.
To start with when you launch the app you’ll find all the days race cards from around the world. Each race card covers the following information
- Track name and starting time
- Horses recent form, trainer, jockey, owner, age and weight
- Riders colours and number
- A write up about the race
This gives you a great insight into the horses that are running that day and helps you to build a picture of the race in your mind.
You’ll also find Time Forms tips for the day as well as their ante-post write-ups for the big upcoming events. It’s worth checking out the news section of the app too to find more analysis and things you may need to know.
What is also great about this app is the speed of the racing results that you get. It’s updated very quickly after a race and you can find all the days and the previous days results on the app.

Will I Be Charged To Download An iPhone Betting App?
If you stick to bookmaker apps then there is no charge to download any apps, this is due to Apple’s rules on gambling apps. If you offer real money betting from the app then it has to be free, the only apps you will pay for are some of the stats apps that don’t offer betting.
