Betway App Review

You may have seen the TV adverts for Betway and be wondering who they are and if the Betway app is any good. Betway is newer to mobile betting than some more established brands but that does not mean they are behind in terms of quality.

After starting out with an Android and iPhone casino app they have since moved into sports betting with the Betway sports app (they also have a desktop, mobile site and casino app). We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the betway app and think its a good sports betting app to use.

Betway Android app review

Betway android app home screenThe Betway Group acts an umbrella for a number of brands, including Dream Bingo, Spin Casino and Betway Sportsbook.

As Betway is a global gambling company, it holds a number of licenses across the world, countries include Spain, Italy, Denmark and of course, the UK. The Betway Group itself is scattered globally, with offices based in London and Cape Town.

In 2015, Betway also sponsored West Ham United FC for £20 million a season as the main shirt sponsor. They also sponsor the World Snooker UK Championship as part of a three-year agreement.

Many would think this would be enough, but Betway showed its commitment again when it went on to become the international sponsor of the Davis Cup and Fed Cup, two tennis competitions that are held globally.

Betway android promotionsAs well as boasting an impressive sponsorship portfolio, Betway also has a number of brand ambassadors, many of them respected names in the world of sport.

Among the ambassadors are Mike Tindell, the former England rugby World Cup winner, Richard Johnson, a National Hunt Racing Jockey and Simon Hughes, a former cricketer and broadcaster.

App Installation

iOS users are able to browse the App Store and install directly from the platform. Due to recent changes in Google’s Play Store policies, the Android version has to be downloaded directly. This can be done by visiting the Android home via this link – Click here to get the Betway APK – and follow the steps on the home page.

It should also be noted that Android users will need to ensure that the settings allow for downloads from unknown sources, as it will be downloaded outside of the Play Store.

Betway also hosts a mobile site for those who may not be able to download the app at that particular time. There is very little difference between the two versions, only in that, the app is more accessible, as it merely required the swipe of a thumb, as opposed to typing in a web address.

The app design itself is well set out, and it’s evident that some thought has gone into the design. The options are activated by simply clicking the Betway tab, where users can choose where they want to navigate to.

Users are also greeted by the latest promotions, meaning that they don’t have to get lost in an online web in order to find the special offers and promotions.

The app is also pleasing to the eye, offering basic but clear fonts that ensure you are rarely squinting to try and read as to what’s going on.

Betway Android app Features

The app does a good job in its housekeeping, ensuring that the plethora of games available is categorised in such a way, the locating them is as simple as a few swipes of the thumb.

When the app first launches, it acts as a portal for the many different games on offer. Users are able to flick between casino games, Vegas-inspired games and in-game sports betting with relative ease.

There is also a dedicated esports section, something that is not often seen within other betting apps.

Betway iPhone app review

When we started the testing for Betway app on iPhone we were pleasantly surprised with how good it is. Betway is not one of the biggest sports betting companies in the UK but are getting into the market and with their very strong mobile products. They are slowly creeping up our best iPhone betting apps list with their ever-improving app.

Betway promotions on iPhoneAs well as the app for sports betting they also have a very good casino app too that is in the app store You can actually use the same account and balance across both apps with is handy.

One of the things that set Betway apart from others is the quick search built into the app. We know all the big betting sites offer this but not many have it built into their betting apps. On the Betway app, you can search by event or by team name making it a doddle to find the match you want to bet on.
The app also has a dedicated live betting section for you to keep up to date with the latest scores and odds. With the app being very stable its quite a good app to use for checking the latest scores and seeing how the games are going on even if you’re not planning to have a bet on any of the games.

Over time Betway has evolved and improved their app and their current offering is excellent. There are now daily promotions on offer for existing customers which is always a bonus! For big tennis and football matches, they have crowd and court-based backgrounds that give a more immersive feel to the in-play betting markets.

Horse finder – This is something unique that Betway offer and you can use this to find horses to back based on your own requirements. There are selections for the price of the horse, the form of the horse and much more – This is coming to the app soon!

Overall the Betway app stands well alongside the better-known brands is worth having for the in play and the free bet!

The Betway app does a good job of keeping a lot of information and games stocked into one aesthetically-pleasing app that’s also very responsive. As well as offering gamers a number of games that are of interest to them, its cross-promotion means that users can very easily try their hand at something new should the fancy take them.

It is also good that a promotions tab has been included, as this save gamers from mindlessly searching for something that may not even be there. The promotions tab advises of the more permanent offers, as well as some time-limited offers. As everything is included within the app, it’s very unlikely that you will ever miss out on any special offers.

An attractive and robust app that offers gamers all they’re looking for, and then some more.
