BetVictor App Review
How do you download the BetVictor app?
The app can be located within the Google Play Store for Android devices. It can also be found on the App store for iPhone and iPad.
Make sure you search for BetVictor all as one word and install the app displaying the same logo shown on this page. There are very similarly named apps available, especially on the Google Play Store, so be sure to download and install the correct one.
BetVictor Android app – APK vs Mobile Website
You can of course use the mobile optimised website instead of installing the app. Just hit your menu key from the BetVictor mobile homepage and then “add a shortcut to home” link.
This is our recommended option versus downloading the app on Google Play. It takes up barely any space and you’ll never need to update it or have any bugs.
However, the native version of the app has some additional security features, not available on the mobile site. These include the ability to personalise the 3D touch settings and biometric login (on the later Android, iPhone and iPad models).
There’s also the option to create a 4 digit pin code to access your account in the dedicated app. The speed this allows users to log in and find the football leagues, racecourses or other sports they like is very impressive.
Sports on the BetVictor App
The home page of the app is one of the best compared to some other betting apps. You see the latest live scores for in-play betting and the “top links” for the most popular pages.
These are usually where you’ll find the football coupons with the “today’s match” and “tomorrow’s match” coupons showing alongside the very popular both teams to score coupons.
On the football tab, you’ll find the day’s enhanced odds bets with a couple of bets or accas boosted every day. Check out the stats behind these before you back them to make sure you’re happy to. They don’t just boost them to be kind and give you money!
Icons To Look Out For
Delve in to an actual fixture and all of the betting markets will be opened up to you. By default, the most popular betting markets will be presented first. However, there is a menu bar at the top containing plenty of filter options. You will find the Bet Builder tool within this menu bar.
Build your own football bets
The bet builder tool allows users to combine football markets together to make up a single bet. Make your selections and the bet builder tool will provide an instant price on the combined selections made. Markets available to combine are:
- Match result – home/draw/away selections for intervals of first half, second half, each half and 90 minutes.
- Both teams to score – yes/no selections for first half, second half, each half and 90 minutes.
- Goals – player goals with the option of first or anytime goal scorer and team goals on an over/under/exactly basis for first half, second half, each half and 90 minutes.
- Cards – player cards includes choices of any card or red, first or any time and team cards on an over/under/exactly basis for first half, second half, each half and 90 minutes.
- Corners – number of corners for one team, the other, both or 90 minutes on an on an over/under/exactly basis.
Additional to the bet builder feature are the new player markets that provides even more choice. In this section, users can bet on individual players to have shots, shots on target, shots outside the box, assists, offsides and tackles.
Unfortunately, there is no way to combine these markets together to make a multi-market single bet or a multiple. Single bets here are only available from the player markets.
Betting on assists can be an interesting market to target players who create a lot of chances. The odds for popular players, such as De Bruyne or Firmino, are usually around 5/2. that is good value, although it is a tricky market to call at times.
Betting on VAR
VAR has been a huge recent change in football and looks like it is here to stay. As such, BetVictor have also provided VAR bets and specials on applicable fixtures. Users of the BetVictor app can now bet on:
- A goal to be disallowed as a result of a VAR review.
- A penalty to be awarded as a result of a VAR review after previously being dismissed by the referee.
- A red card to be shown as a result of a VAR review that was previously not given by the on-field referee.
- A penalty to be retaken after a VAR review.
BetVictor have recently added more specialist markets to give something different for their customers to bet on. This includes the increasingly popular man of the match markets for most live tv games and the “who scored” markets for highest-rated players.
Markets of this type go off the whoscored.com rankings for each player. These options can be found at the bottom of the match markets on the app. However, they are not usually priced up until the day of the match.
BetVictor certainly do keep up with current trends and are not afraid to mimic successful features offered by their competitors. However, they also try their best to separate themselves from the crowd by being innovative at the same time.
Whilst this app is the market leader for football betting it is also geared up for Horse race betting fans. Like most, it offers live streaming from at the races when you bet at least £1 on any race.
One advantage the BetVictor app has is that the live stream is shown in full screen, allowing users a decent view of the race. Other bookmakers have it integrated with the markets, meaning a much smaller screen to watch.
Newly added and a great improvement to the app is the Bet Victor Horse finder. You can apply a set of filters to identify horses running that meet your criteria. You can filter by the following options
- Star rating – 1 to 5 stars
- Selections – Won at today’s course, won over today’s distance, Improving horses.
- Odds – Short, medium or long odds.
As you add the sections the green button below updates to show the number of horses available. As a test I’ve gone for horses that have won over the distance, at the course that are rated at 4 stars or higher at medium odds – This has produced 2 horses for the day at 5/1 and 8/1. This is worth following over time to see how the horses perform.
Users also get the full form view for each horse covering:
- Star rating
- Analysis from TimeForm.
BetVictor are quite a big name in horse racing with their sponsorship. They have previously sponsored races such as the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham festival and more recently, the BetVictor ‘Greatwood’ Gold Cup at Newbury.
As usual with these apps, there’s a wealth of sports to choose, from the popular (football, horse racing, tennis) to the (quite frankly ridiculous) virtual cycling betting!
BetVictor sponsor many sporting events including The World matchplay darts and the Welsh Open snooker. With their sponsorship, you’ll find more best prices and more enhanced offers.
The app doesn’t have as wide a range of streams as other betting apps but there are quite a few sports that are covered with the streaming service.
Football, tennis, cricket, basketball, rugby league, rugby union, Ice hockey, table tennis and Esports are some of the sports where you will find the “Watch” option on certain events.
There then is, of course, horse racing streaming provided for all of the UK and Ireland races. If you place a bet of at least £1 per race you’ll be able to watch a stream without leaving the app. As you can see the stream is full screen, unlike others, and is of reasonable quality.
Quick bet feature
The BetVictor app is built with a quick bet feature enabled. This is especially handy when betting in-play or just before a race is starting.
When making a selection most betting apps will then go ahead and place that selection in to your bet slip. Not with the BetVictor app. Instead, a box will appear providing options to either place the bet straight away, or to add the selection to the bet slip.
If you are looking to place a quick single, all you need to do is enter the desired stake amount and then hit the “PLACE BETS NOW” button.
If you are looking to build up an acca, then select “ADD TO BETSLIP” and then continue browsing to add further selections.
If you tweet a desired bet that is not currently available on the site using #Priceitup, then BetVictor will price the bet up for you followed by a link of where to back it.
You can find other people’s personalised bets by going to the #Priceitup section on individual matches. These cover markets like goals, cards, corners, and scoring from outside the area.
The app is one of the better betting apps in the UK.
Depositing funds and withdrawing with BetVictor
Methods of funding your betting account and withdrawing from it differs between regions. For the UK, the recommended method is via a Visa or MasterCard debit card. This is the safest and fastest way to get money in and out of your betting account.
E-wallet methods are also available, such as Neteller, Skrill and PayPal. All cards and accounts used must be in the name of the account holder to be accepted.
Withdrawing money back to your bank account can take as little as 30 minutes to show if your bank supports the FastFund feature. If it doesn’t, a withdrawal request will take between 2-5 days to complete.
E-wallet withdrawals should take between 1-3 days. Requests made to a PayPal account take no longer than 1 day.
There are plenty of ways to get your questions answered and to provide feedback on the app.
For quick answers to general queries or concerns, users should navigate to the “contact us” section of the app. This can be found from within the main menu. From here users can:
- Choose to open up a live chat with a customer service representative.
- Access the online help centre, with articles covering all of the frequently asked questions.
- Request a callback
- Text a BetVictor customer service representative.
- Message BetVictor on Facebook.
- Message BetVictor on Twitter.
Users can also provide less urgent feedback using the send feedback form. This can be used for something as simple as paying the brand a compliment or for something as complex as making a formal complaint.
The feedback section is provided in an online form layout. Your email address is required so that the BetVictor customer service team can respond back to you if needed.
Overall we were very impressed with BetVictor. The odds offered are fantastic, the app is simple to use and well designed.
We like the frequency of the incoming offers, as well as having casino games built into the one app.
If you bet on football then the BetVictor is 100% the app you need. For horse racing and other sports there are better options available.
Other BetVictor Apps
Another strong point of the BetVictor app is the built-in casino app. Users can can play casino games from the same account without ever leaving the sports app. However, there is also a dedicated online casino app available from the app stores, for a more immersive casino experience.
The built in casino section of the sports app is a perfect way to quickly hop between sports, casino and bingo. However, if you are looking for better menu options and filter systems to find specific games quickly, without the distraction of sports, the dedicated app is the way forwards.
Blackjack, European Roulette and Baccarat are just a few of many table games on offer. There’s a whole section here that can be selected from the list of casino categories.
Craps, Poker and Three Card Stud are available in one form or another, as are a host of quirky titles, such as Dragon Tiger, Mega ball and Dream Catcher. Games range from digital graphics, first person virtual-reality style play and Live casino. All can be found straight from the table games section.
This is always my go-to part of any casino app we test, for me, this is the best way to play casino games on your mobile. I’m not a huge fan of playing roulette on a graphics software and much prefer being able to see a physical wheel actually spinning when I’ve got money on it.
The low stake options are decent on mobile too with £2 Blackjack tables and roulette from a minimum of 10p – These are correct at the time of writing this review and are subject to change at any point by BetVictor.
There’s a good selection here. All games are hosted by enthusiastic and profession croupiers who really do try their best to enhance the overall experience for the end user.
Crazy time is one of the games currently available that I am personally enjoying. It’s worth checking out if you are looking for something new to try out, in my opinion.
When you open up the slots section for the first time, the list of titles can appear to be quite overwhelming. scrolling through them all takes some time!
However, there is a search feature that is well recommended when hunting out a specific title. This is much quicker than trying to manually locate it. New users will also be wise to check out the “New” section within the menu options. This is more of a refined list and displays only the most recently launched games on the BetVictor casino app.
The home screen also comes in handy when looking for new slots to try. Here you will find Exclusive games that can only be found on the BetVictor app, as well as displaying the most popular games. The more people that are playing a game, the higher the likeliness it will be one worth checking out.
The casino home page also displays the most recent games that you have played. This can be a time saver when you play a slots game you enjoy and forget the name of it.
Bingo is another gambling category that is offered on the app. There’s not that much choice here and this section probably won’t satisfy the hunger of the hardcore bingo fans. However, it serves well for those who like to play a bit of 90 ball every now and then.
Games are available all around the clock in standard format and in a turbo fashion. Therefore, a good option for killing time on a commute or filling up a ten minute break.
There are different rooms that cater for different bingo styles and budgets, as well as a number of bingo mini games.
Slingo is becoming more and more popular (a hybrid game, combining slots with bingo) and as such BetVictor have the most popular titles in and amongst their regular slots games.
Q & A
Changing the odds format can be done from within the settings. Head to your account details by tapping on the person icon in the top right of the app. There should be a settings option lower down the menu. Tap in to here.
Options such as disabling the Quick Bet feature and managing marketing preferences can be found here, amongst the ability to change the odds in to:
