From here we can select our options to see what horses are available from the following –

  • Star rating – Select from between 1 and 5 stars
  • Has won at today’s course
  • Has won over today’s distance
  • Improving horses
  • Odds – Short, medium or long

Then you can select “find me an edge” from the following

  • Trainer in form
  • Jockey in form
  • Beaten fav in the last race
  • Won last race
  • Has run recently

You can select multiple edges. If that selection is grey rather than light blue then there are no horses that meet that criteria.

As you are selecting the number of available horses changes on the green button below. We usually trim it down to around 4 horses for a shortlist to pick from.

Nap Selection Ideas

We have the following suggestions for finding your own daily nap using the software.

Short odds nap

  • 5 stars
  • Won at today’s course
  • Won at today’s distance
  • Short odds
  • Won last race
  • Trainer or jockey in form

This usually produces around 3 to 6 horses per day. These are usually at odds of 1/2 to around 9/4 and are horses that look like they could go well. It is well worth some extra research at this point to look into the shortlist before making a selection.

Medium odds nap

For a longer odds selection try this criteria

  • 4 or 5-star horses
  • Improving horses
  • Won at today’s course
  • Medium odds
  • See what edges are available

This can draw a blank some days, it usually throws up 1 or 2 horses to have a look at. The odds can vary on these.

Long odds/ outsider nap

If you are looking for a long shot, then we have some criteria to consider. We would usually use this when looking for a horse to place bet.

We recommend running your selection in this order as it allows us to filter it down to find the best horses.

  • Long odds
  • 3 or 4 star
  • Won at today’s course/ distance

If there are other options still available then these can be added. This will usually throw up 1 or 2 horses per day at odds of 15/1 and above.

Please remember to gamble responsibly. The software uses data to find these horses and these are not tips. It is advisable to do further research into the horses before betting on them.

This is a unique feature for Bet Victor and no one else uses this software. You do not need to bet with them though, you may find that other better apps have better odds. It’s always worth checking the prices out to make sure you are getting the best returns.
