Dortmund take on Bayern at the Westfalenstadion this Saturday at 5.30 (UK time) and this is set the be a cracker. In the past few seasons when the teams have met Bayern have been running away with the league but this time they’re struggling for any form having won just 2 of their last 5 Bundesliga games. They were even stuffed 3-0 at home by Monchengladbach 3 games ago, along with a 1-1 draw away at mid-table Freiburg.
Compare that to the form of Dortumd who have 4 wins and one draw from the last league game and it makes startling reading. Dortmund is the current Bundesliga leaders and will be looking to get a win over arch-rivals Bayern and extend their lead over them at the top of the league.
Head to Head Dortmund have just 1 win in the last 6 covering the league and cup games – You have to go back to April 2017 for their last win in this fixture and November 2016 for the last Dortmund home win.
Where can I watch Dortmund v Bayern in the UK?
If you want to watch the game live then there’s a couple of options for you to choose from. The first option is free – you can stream it on your mobile or tablet on the bet365 app. (Available in the UK – Other Geographical restrictions apply outside the UK) To do this you just need to have a registered account with funds in. When it gets towards the kick off time head over to the app and go to the game, there will be a small tv icon next to it – tap this to watch it. In our opinion, it’s best to stream it on your iPhone or Android mobile as this gets it in full screen when we were testing it. Watch it here.
The alternative option is to watch it on BT sport where it will be on BT Sport 2 from 5.15 on Saturday if you have a BT Sports subscription. It’s on at the same time as Crystal Palace v Spurs in the Premier League which is on BT Sport 1.

Interestingly Bayern are still as low as 1/9 to win the Bundesliga with some bookmakers. The standard price by the major bookies is 1/3 with Dortmund available at 15/8. If Dortmund get a good win here that will probably come down a little but most seem to think Bayern will sort their form out and win the league like usual.
Both teams are missing a couple of players through injuries for this game – none through suspensions.

For me, this is a tough one to call, Bayern’s form has dipped but this is a big game for both teams. With the current odds, there’s not much value in backing Bayern or even Bayern win and BTTS. At a push, I’d take Bayern to win both halves at odds of around 5s on the Unibet app.
