Totesport is most often linked with horse racing, yet this app offers a whole host of sports to bet on right at the touch of your fingertips. This well-rounded app is easy to navigate and, once you’re logged in, offers a good range of markets on all of Britain’s favourite sports. Yes the markets aren’t as diverse as those found on the likes of the Bet 365 app, but we’re certain you’ll find a good spread here and see something that catches the eye.
And the fact that this app is so well packaged means that you can get there quickly and easily making it great for placing in-play bets and keeping on top of the ever-changing markets. The Totepool – the firm’s famous racing market – isn’t forgotten about either – you’ll find that at the top of the screen alongside options to bet on Britain’s favourite sports such as football and boxing.

Tote app review
The Totesport app gives a very solid sports offering behind an easy to navigate interface. Once you’ve logged in to your Totesport account you will be able to see the full range of markets on offer and begin to place your bets. There’s not as many sports to bet on here as with other apps, but if you stick to the more traditional sports, and recently imported offerings like American Football, we’re sure you’ll find something to your tastes here.
If it is depths of markets that you want then perhaps a visit to a site like Bet 365 may be in order – not that there isn’t much fun to be had with Totesport. They offer competitive odds and by using the sliding menu at the top you can access all the most popular sports with just a tap.
There’s also a variety of in-play options to keep you intrigued right throughout the day although, unfortunately, there is no live streaming. But Totesport’s app definitely stands up on its own as a good option for sports betting, whether football, tennis, golf or motor racing is your thing.
The market that made Totesport famous, the Totepool is a central part of this app and can be accessed in just one click from the top bar which acts as a navigation hub for the app. This is a really well-rounded section of the app, showing the next three races and offering the opportunity to bet with just the touch of a button.
There’s also a great explanatory page which talks you through all the different aspects of the Pool before you get stuck in. It couldn’t be any easier to get started betting on the tote within this app then. This is a great option, making betting on the Totepool accessible to a new audience, while still maintaining its old familiarity for time-worn bettors.
Video guide to using the app
This app does on occasion feel like it is screaming the word promotion at you, not that this is necessarily a bad thing. You certainly can’t help but notice the free £25 for new customers which is emblazoned across the front of the app when you first open it on your smartphone.
There is also a promotions tab at the top, somewhat confusingly placed in the same bar as the myriad of sports that Totesport makes available for its customers. This includes guarantees on best odds for the horse and greyhound racing, and event-specific money-back specials, which are always nice to see. Totesport certainly don’t hide their promotions away, and it’s nice to have easy access to this section so that you can plot the best way to place your money.
The Totesport app is a great option for bettors who love their sport, with a great variety of disciplines covered within an easy-to-navigate interface. Of course the main event here is the Totepool, for which the firm became famous – and it is given a prominent position right at the top of the app.
The app itself is clear, easy to read and, thankfully, doesn’t try to cram too much onto the small screen. Yet you aren’t left feeling like you’re missing out with plenty of markets on a whole range of sports just a tap or two away.
There’s plenty to keep you busy here, then, with a wide range of markets on everything from football to rugby league, although perhaps not quite as diverse as some of their competitors. Whether or not this matters to you will come down to personal preference, but this is certainly a great offering which is worthy of a download on your iPhone or Android phone.
