Aaron Ramsey’s move to Italy hasn’t gone anywhere near as well as expected. He has struggled with injuries, has had three different coaches at Juventus and being isolated in Italy throughout the covid pandemic have all taken their toll on the ageing midfielder.
He now appears to have fallen out of favour with latest head coach of Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri. Ramsey has seen very little game time recently and Allegri seems to have washed his hands of him.
With Wales looking to qualify for the World Cup later this year, a move back to England playing regular first team football would not be a bad move at all, given the circumstance.

Which clubs are likely to sign Aaron Ramsey?
A good indicator of this would be the bookmakers. Here are the current favourites.
Crystal Palace 6/4*
Crystal Palace have been tipped as a good option after sources reported that Juventus have given the all clear to allow Ramsey to sign for Palace on a free. However, it is not yet clear on what Ramsey’s thoughts are on a move to London club.
As being a previous Arsenal player this may not be the ideal move for him and he may well wait for better offers to present themselves. That said, time is running out, so he must weigh up his options efficiently.

Newcastle 7/4*
Newcastle looks to be a much better fit, on paper. There’s no problems in paying Ramsey’s £350,000 a week for the rest of the season and he is the type of player that could slot in well at Newcastle and make a real impact.
Newcastle is a much more neutral club to get involved with for Ramsey and a loan deal here should see Ramsey playing out most minutes of the rest of the season.
That will put him in good stead, should Wales qualify for the World Cup and should Ramsey stay fit. However, as Ramsey has already reportedly turned down an approach from Burnley, Ramsey could be looking to enjoy his football without getting involved in a gritty relegation battle.

Aston Villa 7/2*
Villa is another feasible option for Ramsey. However things could get confusing there as Villa already have a player in their books called Aaron Ramsey, who has recently been loaned out to Cheltenham.
Joking aside, Ramsey could be a valuable asset for the remainder of the season. The Villa midfield has been missing a certain je ne sais quoi ever since Jack Grealish left.
Gerrard knows full well how important consistency is in the middle of the park, but nothing concrete has been leaked out from the media outlets about him registering any interest.
Everton 8/1*
Everton were reportedly in talks at the beginning of the year to attempt to sign the Juventus midfielder. However, since the departure of Rafa Benitez, plans have understandably been placed on the back burner for the time being.
Everton are in a bit of a crisis point themselves, so cannot afford to remain static throughout this window. A new manager will need to be sorted quickly, who will need to act fast to make desired improvements.
One of those short term improvements could be deemed as Aaron Ramsey, but with so much uncertainty here, there is very little value at 8/1, in my opinion.
Are any other clubs interested in Aaron Ramsey?
No other clubs have been reported to be knocking on Aaron Ramsey’s door, but there are other clubs available at longer odds within the transfer betting market. Here’s how the full market shapes up at Coral.
